Blackie Lawless is an American musician and songwriter, known as the frontman for W.A.S.P. Alice Cooper has had a long running feud with Blackie in the 80's and 90's with the pair jousting in the press, he was one few practitioners of "shock rock" that the Coop does not approve of, most famously during a segment The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years.
In modern times Blackie has been open about watching the Guillotine trick setup from backstage directly inspiring his own career. Ace Frehley showed him how to help roadies set up equipment before a show as a way to watch bands from the side of the stage.
