Alice Cooper's "Welcome 2 My Nightmare"
Welcome 2 My Nightmare is the 26th studio album by Alice Cooper, released on September 13th, 2011.
The album is a spiritual sequel to Cooper's 1975 album Welcome to my Nightmare. Ideas arose for the album after Alice pitched a sequel to his 2008 album, Along Came a Spider, to original Nightmare producer Bob Ezrin. However, Ezrin "wasn't really into it," and the two began discussing the idea of Alice having another nightmare. The album brought back original surviving Alice Cooper band members Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunaway and Neal Smith who performed on three of the tracks.[1] The album also features musical appearances by Vince Gill, Ke$ha, Mark Volman, Rob Zombie, and John 5.
